The tenth annual Advancing Diversity workshop was held Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. The keynote speaker was Dr. Bernadette Gray-Little, Chancellor, University of Kansas. Afternoon sessions addressed LGBTQ issues on campus, dealing with different abilities, Appalachian culture, diversity in the classroom, and challenges and strategies for mid-career women faculty.
